Bianca Animal Charity

Bianca Animal Charity www.bianca.pt/english  created in 2001, is based in Sesimbra, 30 km from Lisbon. GPS Coordenads  38.489538,-9.123813 .We are a multicultural group of animal lovers of various nationalities – Portuguese, English, Dutch, Germans, Brazilians- from all areas of society (doctors, layers, police , lawyers, studants, veterinaries, designers, engineers, housewives, ect) running  a shelter of 300 happy dogs.

We dedicate our time, in a volunteer way, to save animals, treat them physically and psychologically, make them happy and healthy and finally rehome.

Bianca annually collects 600 new animals ! We sterilized all our animals and those which families cant afford, through a sterilization program. 

Bianca works with the high level criterious of animal welfare.  All our animals are also vacinated, dewormed, chiped and sterilized.

Volunteering in our shelter is a very grateful job, walking and bathing dogs or just take them to the vet. Some animals suffered mistreatment, others are just scared and need to be socialized in order to be adopted, so our volunteers also engage in this important task.

Bianca has a large experience receiving,  throughout the year, volunteers from different countries to support us with the dogs.

We consider as highly important our program schooll education about animal welfare.

If you think to adopt a pet consider that Bianca has permanently 300 dogs and several cats healthy waiting for a home.

Our goal is to find permanent and good homes for the dogs and cats, make them and their families happy. Bianca team is permanently available to advise you when you may need, about the dog healthy, behave, food, and the dog according your lifestyle.

Bianca need 2000 kg food dog per month, several medication which list can be find in our website and volunteers to help in the shelter where 300 dogs wait a friend to give them a little attention.
