Museu PO.RO.S. – Portugal Romano em Sicó, Condeixa-a-Nova

Around 2,000 years ago, the Romans arrived in the plateau of Sicó. At the edge of the Empire, Conímbriga became a truly Romanised centre. PO.RO.S – Museu Portugal Romano em Sicó reveals the meeting of cultures that moulded the history of the territory. The technology stimulates the senses and gives the exhibition a lively and dynamic character, capable of combining knowledge and entertainment and thus contributing to the safeguarding and dissemination of the historical memory of Romanisation.

Vor etwa 2.000 Jahren kamen die Römer in die Hochebene von Sicó. Am Rande des Imperiums wurde Conímbriga zu einem romanisierten Zentrum. Das PO.RO.S – Museu Portugal Romano em Sicó veranschaulicht das Zusammentreffen der Kulturen, die die Geschichte dieses Gebiets geprägt haben. Die moderne Technologie regt die Sinne an und verleiht der Ausstellung einen lebendigen und dynamischen Charakter, verbindet Wissen mit Unterhaltung und trägt so zur Bewahrung und Überlieferung der Geschichte der Romanisierung bei.
