Where are the weeks going? Flights have been booked for me to go back to the UK to be with family for Christmas, present lists are already being prepared … plus I am sorting out arrangements for our afpop EA Christmas Dinner Dance.

HAVE YOU BOOKED? Christmas Dinner Dance : 6^th December : Real Marina Hotel Olhão … It’s only 3.5 weeks before our Christmas Dinner Dance and I have already been given deadlines by the hotel regarding numbers and table plans. In order for me to achieve their deadline my cutoff date with you for bookings is the 22^nd November.
I have currently taken 100 bookings. It is usually a fun evening a good start to the festive celebrations. Please email me if you would like to book places.

HAVE YOU ORDERED YOUR WINE?  At our recent wine tasting at Octant Vila Monte, the wine producer offered afpop Members and friends the opportunity to buy wines at a very good discounted price. Please ask me for the order form should you be intrested. The delivery is expected to be the last week in November in Moncarapacho. The deadline for your wine orders are the 18^th November. When you place your order I will send you payment details.

UPDATE: HELP THE HOMELESS CAMPAIGN.  To date I have received 700.00 euros in donations towards sleeping bags and sleep pods for the homeless in the Algarve… plus some afpop members have made donations direct to the charity. A total amount will be announced after the Christmas Dinner Dance as there will be a raffle on the night and all proceeds will also go towards helping the homeless. Christmas is a time for giving and helping others in need.
