Dear Members and Friends,
We are delighted to invite you to a special afpop joint event – a relaxing and sociable Guadiana River Cruise on Sunday, 9th June 2025. This is a day out not to be missed – a perfect opportunity to enjoy great company, wonderful scenery, delicious food, and plenty of fun along the way. Everyone is welcome — members, guests, friends, neighbours — the more the merrier!
What’s planned? We head from the Western Algarve to Vila Real de S.A. in the east, then sail up the river A traditional Portuguese “all you can eat & drink” lunch in Foz de Odeleite Local bread, cheese, mountain soup, chicken piri-piri, fresh salad, fruit, wine, beer, water, coffee Music, dancing, entertainment – join in or just relax! Swimming pool available for a refreshing dip before lunch Optional coach transport available – leave the car at home and fully enjoy the day !
Prices: Members: €48,50 pp Guests: €52,50 pp Coach: €11 pp
The trip was organised many times over the years — it’s always a happy, relaxed day out with lots of laughter, good food, and wonderful memories.
