We are kicking off very soon with a lunch at a fairly new but very popular restaurant.

Since this spring we have watched this place get busier and busier, come and join us and find out whether this place deserves its 5-star reviews.

Fogo e Brasa Brazilian Rodizio e Steakhouse

It occupies the Auberge premises  in Cruz Da Assumada and still bares its signage as homage. If you know the place you might agree it’s somewhat of a Dr Who’s tardis, appearing like a small, traditional terraced house from the front but opens out at the back to an impressive valley and ocean view. It has also undergone a full ‘makeover’ which has made it bright and pleasant inside.

No doubt you will have guessed that the focus of the menu is indeed meat however by special negotiation fish and vegetable lovers won’t go hungry! It’s likely that with our typical numbers that the restaurant will be exclusive to us and everyone will be looked after very well by their highly rated staff.

Please confirm your attendance by sending a bank payment confirmation and food preference (option 1,2 or 3) by the end of Monday 21st at 5pm. This is also the cut-off date for any cancellations.

Option 1: Meat – a selection of premium grilled meats served continuously at the table including Argentinian picanha, tri-tip, sirloin, flank , chicken legs etc etc

Wide choice of side dishes from the buffet

Fish & Veg lovers, are you still with us? Group packages at this location normally insist on everyone having meat! But so that no afpop member is excluded we have especially negotiated the following:

Option 2: Fish -  Sea bream grilled.
