If you’re submitting the termination request on behalf of a friend or family member, you’ll need to include signed power of attorney confirming that you are acting with their consent. The letter should always be sent by registered mail with return receipt (correio registado com aviso de receção). It’s also advisable to request written confirmation from the operator within five business days of both the termination date and the service deactivation date.
