Museu do Traje São Brás de Alportel - Cork Factory and Plantation Tour

October 15th  a coach trip is being organised to a tour of a cork factory & plantation, lunch, and then on to the Museu de Traje in São Bras de Alportel  which is housed in a mansion originally own by a family that made their fortune in cork. It houses costumes from the 19^th and early 20^th centuries, a mock-up of life in World War 1 trenches, another section is dedicated to the cork industry in days gone by and includes a short historic film, and in the grounds is a spectacular display of carts and a working well.  Everything is described in Portuguese and English and it will be a really interesting day out. We expect the price including the museums, lunch and coach to be about €55 - €60 pp but we are still doing the budget for this. Anne Sabine is the organiser for this but I will be giving further details when we have them but do contact her on office@sabineassociates.co.uk to register an interest.
