One of the things that people worry about is what happens to their pets if they are no longer able to take care of them. Whilst long term planning is important, what happens if suddenly there’s an unforeseen emergency and you aren’t able to tell people about your pet at home?
We have included an example card here that would alert the emergency services of the need to look after your pet and inform them of who to contact if you are unable to do so. Of course you will have to agree with whomever is going to look after your pet. . It can then be placed in your wallet or purse with the following information Tenho animais sózinhos em Casa! - Se eu estiver doente ou ferido em situação de emergência, por favor entre em contato com a pessoa listada em baixo para cuidar do meu animal de estimação (“I have animals home alone! - If I am sick or injured in an emergency situation, please contact the individual listed below to care for my pet”).
